This micronisation results in a very fine powder, more easily dissolved with water, so it may quickly be absorbed into your muscle cells. When performing intense exercise (ie weight training or sprinting) our immediate energy source is Adenosine Tri–Phosphate (ATP). Energy is created when ATP is broken down, losing a Phosphate molecule, to become Adenosine Di–Phosphate (ADP). In addition to its energy production role, Creatine also appears to be a cell volumizer, cell volumizing is the effect when muscle cells become super–hydrated. This process may stimulate greater muscle protein synthesis as well as allowing improved resistance to muscle protein breakdown. It has been suggested that this super–hydration process is the main stimulus for muscle hypertrophy (the growth of muscle). Directions: Loading and maintenance: Experts suggest that muscles first need to become fully saturated with Creatine and recommend Creatine "loading." To load, consume 20 to 25 grams, divided into 5 servings (5 gram servings or one rounded teaspoon at a time) throughout the day for 5 consecutive days, then switch to a "maintenance" phase of 5 to 10 grams, once to twice daily for a period of up to 8 weeks.
